More Details

 I am a full-time certified massage therapist with over 16 years of experience.  I do mostly Swedish technique and I can also do deep-tissue work if you’d like, or I can do a lighter, more sensual type of massage.  I give a full-body massage & I make sure nothing is neglected.  I also have some knowledge of Shiatsu, which I incorporate into my massage, but if you were specifically looking for Shiatsu massage you would be better off with a Shiatsu specialist.  As long as you let me know what you like there’s no reason you shouldn’t get just the massage your body is craving!  I use professional unscented lanolin massage lotion, which isn’t oily and will not soil your clothes.  You are always welcome to take a shower afterward.  I work in an office in my apartment, which is clean, quiet & private. 

 I am located less than a mile south of the 210 freeway at Lake Ave and about two miles from where the 110 freeway ends.  Lake & Colorado are the nearest cross-streets. Olde Towne Pasadena is about two miles west of me.

 I do outcalls in my local area only.  Generally speaking, if you are a local call then you’re not too far.  This would include Glendale, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Monrovia, La Canada, San Marino, Sierra Madre, San Gabriel & South Pasadena.  I have a massage table that I bring with me for outcalls.  

The best way to make an appointment is to call me or send an e-mail.  If you get my voice mail PLEASE LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE!  I almost always have a message telling you my schedule for that day and the specific time we can speak directly.  I am diligent about returning phone calls promptly!

 TOURISTS! I am very close to the Ritz-Carlton, Westin, Hilton and the Courtyard Marriott.  I also go to the Holiday Inn in Monrovia pretty often.  If I come to your hotel I may need to charge extra for parking.  

My Fees

I charge $80 per hour, $110 for 90 minutes and $40 for a half hour.  There is an extra $10 travel fee if I come to you, plus any parking fees if you’re at a hotel.  I accept cash, Visa & Mastercard and I will accept a check after your first appointment. Tips are always welcome too! 

MY SCHEDULE

During the week I am generally available anytime between 9am - 1ppm.  I often workout in the morning, so if you want a morning appointment it's best to contact me before I'm already at the gym.  Even if you can leave a phone number, please leave a message letting me know you want an appointment so I can play my day accordingly.  I try to organize my day to maximize availability, but I occasionally still miss out on appointments because clients call at the very moment they want a massage and I can't see them at that particular moment.  The bottom line is that I do my best to accommodate spontaneous appointments, but the more notice you can give me, the better your chances of getting your massage.

A WORD ABOUT PROFESSIONALISM AND PRIVACY

I am a warm & friendly guy.  I believe that everyone needs to be touched.  I treat my clients respectfully and truly don’t care about age, weight, race, etc.  In the rare instances when I have turned away clients it was because they were disrespectful, obnoxious, drunk, etc.  I do not answer my phone when I’m working so you will have my undivided attention!

I understand that discretion is important to many of my clients and I do my best to protect your privacy.  I do not discuss my clients with my friends or other clients.  If you should happen to run into me somewhere I would leave it to you to acknowledge me and I would understand if you weren’t comfortable talking at that particular time.  I am alone when I listen to the messages on my answering machine and I do not contact my clients unless I have been asked to return a phone call.  I have a rolodex to keep track of clients’ information but I do not share it with anyone, ever.  If you would prefer not to be in my rolodex that would be fine as long as you promise not to be offended if I don’t remember everything about you the next time you come for an appointment.  Many clients give me a pseudonym, which is fine with me as long as they keep the same pseudonym every time they call.

 I am a native Los Angeleno and I love my work!  I have a B.A. in Psychology and a masters in Public Administration. I am well traveled and have a broad range of interests.  I stand 6 feet tall and I’m about as old as I look (there is an extra fee if you want me to be younger or older).
